-------------------PGR Mission Details-----------------

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of CPL Gurpreet Singh, US Marine Corp., to honor him at his 10th Anniversary Memorial. Corporal Singh was KIA on June 13, 2011 while conducting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, California. CPL Singh was on his second deployment. He is from Antelope and a graduate from Oakmont High School.

The PGR Stood for CPL Singh upon his arrival at McClellan Air Park on June 28, 2011 and again at his funeral on July 2, 2011, and at his Annual Memorial Services. We are asked to stand for him again at this special memorial service and we are honored to do so.

We will stand our flag line around 1100 and remain in place until 11:30. There is usually pictures taken while we are there. So after pictures we will be dismissed.
