If interested in attending this mission meet at the Sacramento Int. Airport, at the American Airlines Cargo Area at 530pm

The USO Family support group has requested we gather at SMF for the arrival of Radioman 3rd Class Earl Ellis at SMF @ 1743 hours and then provide an escort from the airport to Williams CA /HWY 20.  We will end our escort there and they coach will continue on to Eureka Ca

Earl was assigned to the battleship USS Oklahoma, which was moored at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, when the ship was attacked by Japanese aircraft. The USS Oklahoma sustained multiple torpedo hits, which caused it to quickly capsize. The attack on the ship resulted in the deaths of 429 crewmen, including Earl Ellis.

LOCATION: AMERCIAN AIRLINES CARGO AREA AT SMF

BRIEFING: 1745

KSU: EST 1830- DESTINATION WILLIAMS CA 60 MILES

We have been asked to provide an escort from SMF to HW20 at Williams via I5 North.  We will then end the mission and return to Sacramento and the funeral coach will continue on to Eureka

There will be no family at the airport.
