I'm putting together a Surprise B-Day Ride for my father Dan Hankins

He served in the US Army from 1969-1971 and did 1 tour in Vietnam.

He came home to people protesting him and calling him names, and when filling out a job application upon his return he was told not to put down that he was a Vietnam veteran, that they wouldn't be able to hire him if that was on his resume or application.

It was only in the last 5 years that he has been willing to put a hat on that says Vietnam Veteran. He never heard of the PGR or what they do till I joined last summer and was very surprised and glad to see a group out there honoring our vets.
