The family of SGM Rodney Harris has requested the PGR stand a flag line at his funeral services on 22 April 2021 at 1000 at SVNC. The PGR are honored to stand for this American hero.

Rodney joined the United States Army on May 27, 1999 where he served for 22 years rising to the rank of E9 Sgt. Major. While serving his country Rodney managed to receive a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science and later on a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. During his service he earned three Purple Hearts, The Soldiers Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal.

At the cemetery we will proceed to the committal shelter when cleared by the cemetery staff where we will stand a flag line for Rodney and his guests arrival. We will remain in place at the committal shelter until the commitment services are complete after which we will quietly depart.
